Conj Courses: PMCB (Alex Quackenbush) ->The tone of some responses is concerning to committee, especially the lack of respect in responses: students are not using appropriate professional judgement in regards to how critiques of classes are utilized (i.e. they go into professor’s files for consideration for tenure.) Course evals are a good opportunity to practice giving constructive criticism in a respectful way, which is a skill often used in future professional duties (e.g. grant review, paper review). They are working with Cook Ross (a professional company that assists with unconscious bias trainings, check out their website here: http://cookross.com/unconscious-bias-2/).
