All Hill Student Council Meetings
All-Hill Student Council is the governing body of all OHSU students and serves as the liaison between students, faculty, and administration throughout the OHSU campus. All schools and programs are represented by electing students to serve as class delegates. Delegates serve on committees across campus, host student events throughout the year, and keep fellow students informed of important happenings that directly affect campus life. All Hill Student Council meetings are open to all students! Come learn about what's happening around campus that might affect you!

AVDS- Sponsored Happy Hours
Alliance for Visible Diversity (AVDS) is a student organization that aims to bring together scientists from all backgrounds to increase diversity in the sciences at OHSU and build a supportive community for all. They are hosting the Vollum Happy Hour the last Friday of every month to open it up to the entire campus in an effort to accomplish this mission! Join AVDS for a few drinks and some food!

Event: 4 week Meditation Class

Details: During this four week series we’ll explore practices of mental and physical awareness that help interrupt habitual patterns of thinking. This process helps to create new neural pathways or a "mental and physical map" which brings you closer to the center of your presence-a relaxed state and away from conditioned response or "fight or flight" survival adaptations.

Event: Gender Equality Meeting

Details: As a way to unwind and relax during busy weeks, acupuncturists from JBT Student Health and Wellness Center will provide free “auricular” or ear acupuncture for anxiety and stress.

Event: John T. Williams Neuroscience Retreat
When: July 19-20
Where: Vollum Institute, Room M1441

Event: Pacific Northwest Tumor Microenvironment Symposium
When: Monday, October 8 from 9 am - 6 pm

Details: The Knight Cancer Institute at OHSU in collaboration with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center invite you to participate in a day long symposium designed to promote scientific interaction between our Institutes in the field of tumor microenvironment. Scientific presentations by faculty and selected talks from trainees will showcase current research exploring the contribution of the microenvironment to tumor initiation, progression, dormancy, and response to therapy.
